ATM services have been inaugurated in Dh. Meedhoo in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB). Under a government policy to establish a system where all essential financial services are available on every inhabited island, an agreement was signed on November 7, 2024, between the Ministry and MIB to install ATMs on all inhabited islands. Under this agreement, 23 ATMs will be installed on 19 islands.
