PayPal Launch Marks Major Milestone in Maldives’ Digital Economy Drive
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu launched PayPal services in the Maldives at a ceremony at Barceló Nasandhura Malé, fulfilling a key pledge. The service is delivered through Ooredoo Maldives via Techfin Maldives, which received an inward remittance licence in October 2025.
