The second intake of the National Service Technical Training Course commenced on Thursday at the School of Engineering and Logistics in Kihaadhoo. The 16-week programme has enrolled 75 participants from 17 atolls, including 62 men and 13 women. Participants will receive training in technical and vocational fields such as automobile engineering, marine engineering, electrical work, refrigeration, welding, metal fabrication, and office management. The course is delivered by experienced MNDF instructors and upon completion, participants will receive a Level 3 certificate recognized by the Maldives Qualifications Authority. The programme was launched under an initiative of President Mohamed Muizzu to develop self-reliant youth with practical skills.
