UK recognises MNU medical degree

The UK's General Medical Council (GMC) has officially recognized the MBBS programme of Maldives National University (MNU) School of Medicine, the first country to do so. Graduates can now sit the PLAB exam and work in the UK's NHS. MNU adopted a modified curriculum from the National University of Malaysia.
