Provisional results for Chairperson election released: Nasheed secures victory with a margin of 11,839 votes

Former President Mohamed Nasheed secured 21,301 votes, defeating opponent Mickail Ahmed Naseem who received 9,462 votes, a margin of 11,839 votes.
