President and First Lady conclude State Visit to Sri Lanka

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed concluded a state visit to Sri Lanka from 3-6 May 2026, at the invitation of President Anura Kumara Disanayaka. The visit included official talks, exchange of several MoUs covering youth development, tourism, defense, health, and education. A tree planting ceremony commemorated 60 years of diplomatic relations. Muizzu delivered a keynote at the Maldives-Sri Lanka Business Forum, launched MIFCO products in Sri Lanka, and visited the High Commission, Cultural Centre, and Colombo National Museum. The First Lady visited Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children and Good Market Sri Lanka Office. A high-level delegation accompanied them.
