The first Biennial Transparency Report submitted by Maldives under the Paris Agreement.

The Maldives' first Biennial Transparency Report (BTR1) under the Paris Agreement, which shows that over 95% of greenhouse gas emissions come from the energy sector and that the country has installed 110 MWp of solar photovoltaic systems, targeting 33% electricity from renewables by 2028. The Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy completed the Facilitative Multilateral Consideration of Progress (FMCP) for this report.
