The Maldives Penal Code is the primary criminal law statute of the Maldives, establishing offenses and penalties. It includes provisions such as Section 532(a) on obstruction of law enforcement and Article 1204(c.2) on qisas, the latter of which was rescinded by the Supreme Court.
