The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is an intergovernmental organization of 57 member states that addresses issues facing the Muslim world, including the Palestinian cause. The Maldives, a member since 1976, has used OIC platforms to condemn Israeli actions in Gaza and advocate for Palestinian statehood.
