Velana International Airport (VIA) is the main international airport in the Maldives, operated by Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL). It handles the vast majority of tourist arrivals and passenger traffic, and has been the site of various developments including a calm room for special needs passengers, traffic diversions for maintenance, and a blood donation camp.
