Teaching at Arabiyya School to begin next academic year
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu announced that teaching at Arabiyya School will begin next academic year after construction is completed. Speaking after the PNC victory in Meedhoo Council elections, he emphasized the government's vision to elevate Islam and advance the country. He criticized previous governments for undermining Islamic education and noted that a permanent plot has been allocated for the school. The new 10-storey building will include 42 classrooms, a multi-purpose hall, and four lifts. The President also highlighted reforms in police and military services, and efforts to address expatriate issues, including deporting unlawful foreign workers.
