New police station buildings were officially opened in B. Maalhos and AA. Within a Few Months, Every Inhabited Island Will Have an ATM – BML CEO Shareef

Bank of Maldives (BML) CEO Mohamed Shareef announced an ambitious expansion plan to install ATMs in all remaining 56 inhabited islands within two to three months, completing nationwide coverage. The bank has already installed ATMs in 47 islands this year, covering seven atolls (Dhaalu, Haa Alif, Noonu, Meemu, Shaviyani, Kaafu, and Baa). BML introduced ATM services in Maldives in 2000 and has been steadily expanding to promote financial inclusion.
