MTCC marks rapid progress on Boduthakurufaanu road: Pre-cast panels done, capping works at 33%
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) announced progress on Segment 1 of the Boduthakurufaanu North Side Road Development Project in Malé City. Pre-cast panel installation is completed, quay wall capping concrete works are 33% done, and reinforcement work continues. Previous milestones include 72 meters of sheet piling in early September, 132 meters in late September, and demolition of quay wall capping. The project aims to create wider, pedestrian-friendly roads, ease traffic, and integrate stormwater drainage to reduce flooding.
