Three Maldivian Women in Critical Condition After Road Accident in Cochin

Three Maldivian women from Alifushi Island in Raa Atoll were critically injured in a road accident in Cochin, India, on Saturday morning. The victims are a 25-year-old daughter, a 50-year-old mother, and a 54-year-old aunt. They are being treated at Kims Hospital. The accident occurred at 11:30 p.m. when their driver stopped on the highway and collided with an oncoming car. The mother and daughter underwent surgery; the aunt's condition is undetermined. The husband of one victim confirmed the situation.
