Maldivian Cancels Malé-Dhaka Flights Due to Technical Problem

Maldivian, the national carrier, cancelled two flights from Malé to Dhaka on Saturday due to a technical issue with its Airbus aircraft. The problem was first discovered during a flight to Thiruvananthapuram, India in June. Mohamed Naseer, Supervisor of Corporate Sales, confirmed the cancellation and stated that pre-flight checks are conducted to ensure safety. Passengers are offered alternatives or refunds. Operations to Dhaka are expected to resume on Sunday.
