Missing fisherman found dead in Gahdhoo
A local fisherman from Gaafu Dhaalu Gahdhoo who went missing from the Mizna Mohamed fishing vessel was found dead underwater. The deceased, 44-year-old Ishaaq Rasheed, was declared dead on arrival at the Health Center on Gahdhoo. The fishing vessel reported him missing at 05:40 on 07 June 2026. Police launched a search operation and are further investigating the incident.
