Gulhi Welcomes President Muizzu with Open Arms

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu received a warm welcome from residents of K. Gulhi during his official visit to the island. He was greeted by crowds at the harbor, including local leaders and families. During his one-day visit, he planned discussions with the Gulhi Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC), and a meeting with the community to hear concerns about development initiatives. This visit is part of the President's first island tour of the year and a broader series of visits to engage directly with island councils. He has already met with over 190 councils and aims to visit every residential island in the Maldives by the end of 2025. Residents expressed optimism about his engagement.
