Two companies awarded contracts for 560 rooms under Hankede Project
Two companies were awarded contracts to develop 560 rooms as part of the Integrated Tourism Development Project in Hankede, Addu City. Agreements were finalized at the Future Hospitality Summit in Dubai. Conduit House (UK) will develop 335 rooms (grand, deluxe, boutique hotels), and Time Hotel (UAE) will develop 225 rooms (150 grand, 75 deluxe). The project is overseen by Maldives Fund Management Corporation, with CNEEC leading infrastructure development. The total project will have 1,041 rooms (2,082 beds), including two grand hotels, two deluxe, ten boutique, 64 serviced apartments, and seven beach villas.
