Man Serving Life Sentence for Raping Great-granddaughter Dies
Hassan Moosa Didi, 85, convicted of raping his two-year-old great-granddaughter and serving a life sentence, died in Hulhumalé Prison. He was found motionless in his cell early Saturday and pronounced dead at 9:55 a.m. at Hulhumalé Hospital. The crime occurred in Kudahuvadhoo, Dhaalu Atoll. A codefendant, Ibrahim Didi (65), the victim's grandfather, also serving a life sentence, continues his sentence.
