Opposition Leader in Huvadhu Atoll for Public Consultations on MDP’s Reform Initiative

Opposition leader Fayyaz Ismail, chairperson of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), is touring Huvadhu Atoll (including Gaafu Alifu and Gaafu Dhaalu) for public consultations on the party's reform initiative. The reform roadmap was unveiled during the 10th session of the MDP National Council. Ismail previously visited Addu and Fuvahmulah cities. He reported positive feedback from party members. The MDP aims to modernize its administration, drawing on 19 years of experience to safeguard democracy in the Maldives.
