STO Opens Central Pharmacy in Hulhumalé to Boost Healthcare Access
State Trading Organization (STO) opened STO Pharmacy Central in Hulhumalé on August 5, 2025, adjacent to Hulhumalé Hospital. The pharmacy offers prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, wellness products, and operates from 8 AM to midnight daily. Customers can pay by cash, card, or through Aasandha insurance. The initiative was announced by STO Managing Director Shimad Ibrahim during the 2024 AGM, aiming to improve healthcare access in the rapidly urbanizing city.
