MoU Renewed to Ensure K. Huraa’s Water Quality
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Utility Regulatory Authority and the K. Huraa Council, originally signed in 2024, has been renewed to ensure continued monitoring of water quality in the island’s desalination system. The renewed agreement reinforces commitment to safe and reliable water standards. Under the arrangement, water samples from K. Huraa will be transported to Malé for testing at the Authority’s laboratory. The initiative supports public health and service quality improvement.
