MIB opens ATM service in Laamu Kalaidhoo
Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) launched a new ATM service in Laamu Kalaidhoo, offering cash withdrawal and deposit in Maldivian rufiyaa. The ATM was inaugurated by Isdhoo MP Ismail Shafeeu, MIB Head of Distribution Ibrahim Shuhail, and Kalaidhoo Council President Ahmed Shiyam. MIB stated the ATM aims to improve banking access for residents and businesses, particularly in the Isdhoo-Kalaidhoo area, one of the most populous communities in Laamu Atoll. The launch is part of MIB's strategy to expand financial services across the Maldives through ATMs and self-service facilities, supporting financial inclusion and economic activity in the atolls.
