Maldives Amplifies Tourism Outreach at Fitur 2024

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), with 22 industry partners, participated in Fitur 2024 in Madrid, Spain from 24-28 January 2024 to promote tourism. Spain was the ninth-top source market in 2023, having reached pre-pandemic arrival numbers. The Maldives aims to attract over two million tourists in 2024, up from 1,878,537 in 2023. A campaign to increase Chinese arrivals was also launched.
