As part of Mandhoo Fisheries Complex ongoing research visit, the China CFNA delegation visited Laamu atoll and toured the state-of-the-art Mandhoo Fisheries Complex—home to fish meal production, smoked and dried tuna processing, and canned tuna facilities, showcasing the export potential of Maldives.

President Discusses Development Needs of Mandhoo

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu discussed the needs of Mandhoo, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, with its Council and WDC. The Council expressed concern over limited development projects and requested not to be neglected. Priorities include more classrooms, upgraded health centre, harbour development, an ATM, and easier access to Male' City. The President reassured that pledges would be fulfilled and noted efforts to establish ATMs in all inhabited islands. Cabinet Ministers updated on planned projects.
