Foundation work begins for new 50-bed hospital in Muli
Foundation work has begun for a new 50-bed hospital building in Muli, Meemu atoll, constructed by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). The project was inaugurated by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on 20 May last year. The four-storey building will cover 32,000 square feet and cost around USD 11.1 million, providing expanded services including NICU, emergency room, and more. The existing Muli Regional Hospital has served the atoll for over 30 years.
