President and First Lady visit the Thalassaemia Centre

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed visited the Thalassaemia and Other Haemoglobinopathies Centre at Orange Hiyaa in Hulhumale’. They toured patient wards, blood donor facilities, laboratory, and the Thalassaemia Patient Care Centre. The centre operates in collaboration with Maldivian Blood Services (MBS). President Muizzu's administration prioritizes healthcare for thalassaemia patients. They were received by Minister of Health Geela Ali and CEO of Male’ City Group of Hospitals Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem. Chief Government Spokesperson Mohamed Hussain Shareef also accompanied.
