Maldivian Resumes International Flights After Aircraft Repairs
Maldivian, the national carrier, resumed international flights after repairing its Airbus A320 that had technical issues on June 25 during a flight to Thiruvananthapuram, India. The aircraft was flown to Malaysia for repairs. Scheduled flights to Dhaka were set to resume by Sunday evening. During repairs, several flights were cancelled and passengers from Indian cities were stranded; they were provided food, accommodation, and alternative flights.
