Maldives to Establish First Immersive Heritage Museum at Usgekolhu
The Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage has signed an agreement with Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) to develop Usgekolhu as the Maldives’ first immersive heritage museum. The project, part of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s policy to restore national heritage, aims to offer interactive experiences for locals and tourists. The museum will be located in Sultan Park at the historic Usgekolhu, once part of the Royal Palace and later the National Museum. Minister Adam Naseer Ibrahim and FDC Managing Director Hamdaan Shakeel signed the agreement.
