Trump says US strike killed Venezuelan gang leader Nino Guerrero
President Trump announced on June 12, 2026, that a US strike killed Tren de Aragua leader Nino Guerrero (Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores). Guerrero was charged with racketeering in a New York federal court in December. Trump said the strike brought justice to victims including 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray and 22-year-old Laken Reilly. The White House, Pentagon, and Southern Command did not respond to comment.
