Faafu Atoll Education Center wins UAE Zayed sustainability award

Faafu Atoll Education Centre won the Zayed Sustainability Prize 2026 in the Global High Schools South Asia category. The award was presented during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in the UAE. Maldives Foreign Minister Dr Abdulla Khaleel attended. The school was recognized for a student-led project combining wind/solar energy, rainwater harvesting, water management, and sustainable agriculture.
