Heart-Stopping Moment: Child Rescued from Fifth-Floor Window
On January 24, 2025, a child with special needs was rescued from a fifth-floor window on Buruvi Magu in Henveiru. A viral video shared by MvCrisis showed the child on the windowsill before being pulled inside. Police responded around 20:50 and found the child had ventured out while the mother slept. The mother is receiving support from the Police Victim Support Unit. Authorities have treated similar past incidents as negligence.
