Heart-Stopping Moment: Child Rescued from Fifth-Floor Window

Police Nab Two Sri Lankans in Major Bootlegging Bust

Police arrested two Sri Lankan nationals, Patti Vithanage Vimosha Vinathage (27) and Nurukshan Kavinda Singapurage (21), in Male' on December 5 after searching a house in Henveiru under a court warrant. They found 500ml×116 bottles and six 5-liter bottles of suspected alcohol. The suspects were handed over to Immigration for deportation. Investigation continues.
