Husband jailed after attacking wife’s alleged lover in Malé
The Criminal Court sentenced Qasim Hasanfulhu, 42, to 1 month and 11 days imprisonment for assaulting Mohamed Rashad on May 11, 2025 in Malé. Qasim pleaded guilty and was a repeat offender. Judge Ustaz Abdulla Shafiu imposed 2 months 12 days, reduced by 31 days pre-trial detention.
