STELCO officially takes over utility services of all islands in Meemu atoll from Fenaka

Fenaka Corporation has officially handed over utility services of all islands in Meemu atoll to STELCO. On June 21, 2026, STELCO formally took over services of Dhiggaru, Kolhufushi, Maduvvari, Muli, Naalaafushi, Raiymandhoo and Veyvah. STELCO Managing Director Dr. Ali Azwar signed the agreement on behalf of STELCO, while Fenaka was represented by Managing Director Mohamed Afeef Hussain. The Ministry of Finance has already transferred utility services in Baa and Lhaviyani atolls from Fenaka to STELCO under the same restructuring initiative.
